Christmastime at our house:

Stocking-hat dates with Dad to pick out a Christmas tree

Eggnog with bendy straws

Christmas tree decorated with mix-match ornaments; all clustered about 2 ft from the bottom of the tree

Making popcorn garlands whilst watching The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (still like saying whilst)

Paper snowflakes hanging from the rafter

What’s not to love about snowmen timers?  Pure Christmas awesomeness I tell you!

Special date with my favorite 4-year-old to see The Nutcracker

Justin occasionally having to talk me down from my “how-many-days-until-Christmas?” panic attacks.

How’s your Christmas shaping up?

Awww, looks wonderful. How did the popcorn stringing go? We were popcorn challenged. Love the snowflakes hanging down, the feet in tights, and polka dots. My eldest won tickets to the Nutcracker and gave the tickets to me and David when he was 5, and I remember how magical it was for the two of us to go. “Is that real snow?”
I am slowly getting both presents and decorating together. Do a bit, rest, make food, do laundry, do a bit more. :-)

Mmmm! Love the coziness of all this~

    Christmas is my favorite.
Were it not for all the stressful parts… ;)
But then again, I’m seeing more & more the only thing that really makes them stressful – is me!

Enjoy that sweet little fam of yours and all these special parts.

Love it all! That little daddy/daughter stocking-hat date. The special mother/daughter Nutcracker date. The cozy house. The tree with the ornaments mostly 2 feet and under. :) Such a happy happy feeling. I think your kids are so lucky to in your family! xo
