What love looks like

I know Baby Girl.  That sister of yours; sometimes she’s a little bit crazy.  She doesn’t really understand your needs right now.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAShe’s kind of loud.  Too “in-your-face”.  Literally.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThroughout everyday your big sis tries to find dozens of ways to say “I love you”, and all of them are clumsy, and slightly inappropriate.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAWhat can I say?  She loves hard that one.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAHer help is rarely helpful but always enthusiastic.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERABut let me tell you a secret about love Baby Girl.  The people who love us don’t always love us the way we think they should.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThey love us with everything they have, and we just have to have the eyes to see it.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERABelieve me.  Someday you’re going to be glad you have her in your corner.

Love, Momma

Each picture shows a lot of love there, and oh so precious! You will be so thankful that you captured these moments for yourself and for your daughters! Thanks for sharing. I love your word pictures too! Blessings on your sweet family!

I have always loved little boys, gee, wonder why? But I know I am in love with your daughters…so sweet . The pics of them face to face are priceless. Yup, and those thighs…adorbs.

gulp! okay.. after a fight w/ my husband a bit ago this one totally got me. “the people that love us don’t often love us the way we think they should… we have to have the eyes to see.” needed this perspective right about now. ;) ) thanks~

“They love us with everything they have and we just have to have the eyes to see it.” I love it. That last picture is just beyond beautiful.

Oh, this post is so sweet. I have been thinking similar thoughts about love this week, but your words are perfect. And the pictures–oh, do I ever want to come cuddle that lump of sugar.

The words and pictures are just right. It’s so true that love isn’t always what we think it should be, but what the other person is able to give. I love that thought. April, your baby is delicious!!! My favorite picture was the one of them on the couch. Take care, April!

Oh my goodness, lump in my throat after reading this! We have one of those “rarely helpful but always enthusiastic” big sisters too, and sometimes my exasperation reaches very high levels. But yes, someday little brother will be so glad bigger sister is in his life. I love your thoughts, your heart, and YOU!

ohmyword. sweetness that brings tears, that’s your girls and this post… and you too. love it. and i’m also remembering our own intense older sibling enthusiasm and baby love around here, we still have it actually. and Jacob is eight. :)

Oh my goodness, this is just about the sweetest post ever! You know those little board story books for babies that tell a sweet little tale for babies but actually just squeeze the reader mama’s heart to bits like “Guess how much I love you?” This totally reminds me of one of those! Your little girls are so precious!
